Walter Parks established himself as a musician over the past three decades. He's toured the globe as the lead guitarist for Woodstock legend Richie Havens, founded the New York City-based folk-duo The Nudes, and is the band leader of the swamp blues-outfit Swamp Cabbage. Now on tour with Judy Collins, Walter, who first visited Arcosanti with Richie Havens several years, returns to Arcosanti with this gift of music. He stepped out on his own in 2010 to record a solo album, which is due out on Wildflower Records in March 2011. After making music in the Big Apple and spending time at a Buddhist monastery in France, Parks now calls Savannah, Georgia home. >>> more about the artist.
